  • Manufactured to the high standards of all other Aqua Safe systems using US made components & cartridges.
Genuine Dow Filmtec 200 litre per day TFC membrane producing on average 8 litres or more per hour on top of the 6, 8 or more litres in the storage tank, exceeding the requirement of even the biggest families.
A membrane flushing valve comes standard to maintain the efficiency of the unit and quality of the water produced. It also maintains Aqua Safe’s long standing 5 year expected membrane life and the optimum waste ratio.
Low waste ratio of 1:1 – 1:1.4 depending upon operating pressure. Higher recovery rates and lower waste ratios can be obtained but doing so will generally shorten the membrane life and result in lower water quality.
Filter cartridge housings are made in the USA.
A housing spanner is included for easy cartridge changes.
Only Genuine John Guest fittings and tube used.
Choice of sink mounted tap to suit every décor and taste.
Storage tank sizes to suit available cupboard space and family size.
Removes 96-98% of fluoride along with 99.99% of chloramines and chlorine.
Optional Alkaliser, Re-mineraliser or Pi filter.
Simple installation with the included ½” connector or ¾” dishwasher tap adaptor.
Auto shut off valve; allows the system to automatically start replacing any water removed, shutting off the system again when the storage tank is full.
Filtamate 600kpa pressure limiting valve with dual check valves to comply with Australian plumbing codes.
Optional pressure gauge to indicate available water pressure (minimum of 280kPa required; 400kPa is optimal for reverse osmosis systems) or blockage of pre-filters. This is caused by sediment in the water resulting in drop in water pressure.
Stage 1:1 micron Carbon Filter or 0.5 Doulton Sterasyl Ceramic filter
    Stage 2:TFC RO Membrane
    Stage 3:1 micron carbon Filter

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What size hole in the benchtop or sink is required for installing a separate drinking water faucet?

The tap hole size is the same for all systems with a separate faucet. A 12-13mm hole is required.

  • What is included with the filter system connection kits

The kit includes everything that should be required for the most common installation on the unit. Included is 2 metres of ¼” water tube, an inline shut off valve, a 350kPa pressure limiting/ non return valve and ½” or ¾” Tee/Connection fittings (you will only require one size). If any other fittings or tube are required please contact Aqua Safe

  • Why have a prefilter or sediment filter on a water filtration system

Pre-filters are usually supplied with twin-filtration systems and are designed to remove sediment and other suspended materials prior to the carbon filter. This prevents the more expensive carbon filter from blocking allowing it to remove more difficult contaminants. The pre-filter is designed to protect the carbon filter.

Sediment filters are available in a number of different pore or micron sizes ranging from 0.3 to 50+ microns. They can also be absolute or nominal micron ratings.

  • How much does shipping cost?

  • How soon are orders dispatched.

Shipping of your order is generally undertaken within 24 hours of the order being place. You will receive tracking once the item has shipped. For special or large orders, this may vary. Please contact Aqua Safe if you have a specific query on your order.
