Micron Rating and Contaminant Removal
The majority of systems are sold with 5-20 micron cartridges, however lower and higher micron rated cartridges are available.
Standard configuration cartridges reduce or remove chlorine, chloramine, THMs, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, VOC’s, sediment, rust, suspended particles, taste, odour and other chemicals.
Flow Rate and Capacity
This high flow system has a suggested maximum flow rate of 40 litres per minute. Beyond this the pressure drop will noticeably increase and the filter performance will decrease. The capacity of the carbon filter is 94,000 litres.
